Delete your Die Lys account

Die Lys is made by Invisionsoft (Pty) Ltd. You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or here.

In the app

1. Open Die Lys and tap the settings button.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. You are signed out and your account is gone.

Here, without the app

Enter the email address you sign in with. We will email you a link; open it and confirm, and your account is deleted.

If that does not work for you, email support@invisionsoft.co.za from the address you sign in with and we will delete it for you, within 30 days and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your email address and account.
• Your sign-in sessions, device records and push notification tokens.
• Every list that only you are on, and everything on it.

What stays

• Lists you share with other people stay with them. If you own one, ownership passes to the person who has been on it the longest.
• Items you added to a shared list stay on that list, without your email address attached.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Nothing is kept for later recovery; copies in our hosting provider's backups are overwritten in the normal course of their operation. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
